CentralChat can currently support two thousand and forty-eight users simultaneously, large enough for any Web community or one-off event. We have two servers, so if one server goes offline for any reason (a rare event), the second server can take its place. More servers will be added if the user count gets too close to the maximum.

Existing rooms are chat rooms that are run by CentralChat - you can put the chat box on your Web site and forget about it; we will do all the moderating for you.

There are several to choose from, including general chat, Harry Potter and trivia. Simply select them from the list. Linking to an existing room is a good choice if you don't want to manage your own room. These existing rooms are moderated 24/7 by CentralChat Helpers and Staff, and are a good choice for Web sites that don't get a lot of visitors.
