Link to or register a chat room

There are two options for adding a chat room to your Web site: you can either link to an existing chat room or register your own chat room.

Register a chat room

Registering a chat room makes you the owner of that room. You'll be able to set options and kick or ban people from the chat room. This is the recommended option.

Link to a chat room

Linking to a chat room skips the registration step and just gives you the code you need to put a chat box on your Web site. This is useful if you want to link to a chat room that already exists. If you want to create your own chat room, it is strongly recommended that you register it.
